The M5 becomes the A38 at Exeter. 4 miles later, the dual carriageway splits right for Plymouth and Left for Torquay, keep left onto the A380 and up the steep hill. Stay on this road until you reach the 'Penn Inn' roundabout at Newton Abbot. Get into the extreme right hand lane and follow the signs into Newton Abbot. Keep left and drive through Newton Abbot following directions for Totnes on the A381.
Having left Newton Abbot, drive for 3 miles along the A381. Drive past Ipplepen on your right, and as you leave the buildings behind look out for the sign for COMBE-FISHACRE. Turn left down the narrow lane, down the hill, under the railway arch, past Castleford kennels on your right, another 50 yards and Normans Farm is the cream farmhouse on your left!
